His academic background includes qualifications in anthropology & development from LSE, economics, and philanthropy and social investment. At Tanweel Prince Faisal leads a small team intensely focused on transformation social impact.
Firas Ragheb Aljarrah
Firas is a coach and consultant in ``social entrepreneurship``. He worked for five years in consulting and investment banking and he is passionate about and has been and working on “human empowerment” for more than 10 years. He has established a number of projects so far, and works on youth empowerment as well as raises the awareness about social entrepreneurship among different segments of the society. Also, on a daily basis he helps social entrepreneurs in their projects and ideas and support them to make a practical progress. He holds a bachelor degree in Financial & Economics from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals – Dhahran, and holds a Master's degree in Social Entrepreneurship from the Hult International Business School in San Francisco, USA.
Thor is an adviser to Tanweel. Passionate about using multicultural communication to bridge gaps between sectors, cultures, and communities, Thor's professional background includes social entrepreneurship, international development, stakeholder engagement, sustainability and environmental management, and public relations. With a keen interest in both the humanities and science he holds academic qualifications in Japanese and Korean, diplomacy and international relations and environmental water management. Benefiting from experience of working in both the profit and non-profit sectors in Europe, East Asia, Africa and the Middle East, he is keenly interested in exploring innovative ways to achieve sustainable positive social impact.
